70 degrees on November 13th. What a strange and awesome thing for this time of year - it truly has been a beautiful autumn in Colorado. It felt long and now the trees have shaken themselves free of their leaves and filled the gutters on all of our homes, so it is definitely time to have them cleaned. Summer is coming to a close and the days will start to cool off soon and hopefully we will have a long, warm autumn. The kids are back in school, gardens are bursting forth and it is a beautiful time to clean up the house and brighten things up with a window cleaning. I don't think of the word monsoon when I think of Colorado. For some reason I think of Africa mostly, but this year I am associating the word with Colorado. I looked the word up to be sure it even made sense with what is going on here on the front range and I think it applies quite well.  "The monsoon season is a showcase of dramatic weather. It is back to school time again and parents are busy running around getting their kids ready for school after the fast summer.
