Frequently Asked Questions

Window Cleaning Questions

How can you give me a quote over the phone without seeing my home?

It’s a simple 5-10 minute process. Dan will ask about 20 easy questions - no measuring or counting required. After years in the business, it’s very rare that he needs to see a home in person to provide an accurate quote.

Dan personally answers calls Monday through Friday and will walk you through everything.

Do I need to count or measure my windows before I call?

No - we’ll take care of that during your call.

Do I need to remove my screens?

No. We carefully remove your screens, clean your windows, and reinstall the screens properly.

Do I need to move furniture?

We move light furniture as needed. However, if you have delicate heirlooms or small valuables near windows, we recommend moving those ahead of time.

Do I need to be home?

No. Many of our clients are not home during service.
That said, we do enjoy meeting you the first time if possible - but it’s entirely up to you.

Do you clean both the inside and outside of the windows?

Yes. Most clients choose full service (inside and outside), but you’re welcome to select exterior-only service if you prefer.

What if the weather is bad?

We monitor weather closely. If conditions would affect quality or safety, we’ll contact you to reschedule for the next available good-weather day.

How far in advance should I schedule?

April through December are our busiest months. We recommend calling at least a week in advance during peak season to secure your preferred date.

Do you guarantee your work?

We aim to please. If you notice anything you’re not satisfied with, simply give us a call and we’ll return promptly to touch it up.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry full liability insurance.

If you’d like a certificate of insurance, just let us know and we’ll have our agent send one to you.

How often should I have my windows cleaned?

Most homeowners schedule service once or twice per year. Homes near construction, trees, or high wind areas may benefit from more frequent cleaning.

We’re happy to recommend a schedule that fits your home and budget.

Do you remove hard water spots?

Light mineral spotting can often be improved with standard cleaning. Heavy hard water staining may require restoration services. We are happy to assess and let you know what is possible.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment is typically due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 business hours’ notice for appointment cancellations.

Cancellations made with less than 24 business hours’ notice — including Monday appointments canceled over the weekend — will be billed at 100% of the appointment fee.

This policy allows us to offer your appointment time to another customer and helps us operate sustainably. Thank you for your understanding.

Gutter Cleaning Questions

How can you give me a gutter cleaning quote over the phone?

It’s quick and easy. Dan will ask about 10 straightforward questions. With his experience, it’s very rare that he needs to see a home in person before quoting.

What process do you use to clean gutters?

We do not rely on leaf blowers alone.

We remove debris by hand, flush gutters with water, snake downspouts if needed, bag debris and haul it away

This thorough process ensures your gutters and downspouts are flowing properly.

Do I need to be home?

No. As long as we have access to the exterior of your home, we can complete the service.

What if the weather is bad?

For safety and quality, we reschedule during severe weather. We’ll contact you promptly if adjustments are needed.

How far in advance should I schedule gutter cleaning?

April through December are busy months. We recommend scheduling at least a week in advance during peak season.

Can I have my windows and gutters cleaned on the same day?

Yes - and many clients do. Scheduling both services together saves time and ensures your home looks great from top to bottom.

When is the best time to clean gutters?

The best time is before overflow becomes a problem.

If gutters are full, water can back up and cause damage to your roofing, fascia, siding, foundations, and landscaping.

Most homeowners schedule once in the spring and once in the fall.

Do you check for gutter damage?

Yes. While cleaning, we’ll alert you if we notice loose spikes, sagging sections, or drainage issues.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 business hours’ notice for appointment cancellations.

Cancellations made with less than 24 business hours’ notice — including Monday appointments canceled over the weekend — will be billed at 100% of the appointment fee.

Thank you for helping us keep our schedule running smoothly.
